Refunds, Cancellations and Transfers

Unless otherwise stated in writing for a specific program, course, workshop, consulting engagement, promotion, or service offering, the following policies apply.

Online Courses and Digital Products

Purchases of online courses, digital products, downloadable resources, templates, recordings, toolkits, guides, and other digital content are non-refundable once access has been granted.

Due to the nature of digital products, participants receive immediate access to proprietary materials that cannot be returned.

If a technical issue prevents access to purchased content, Eyesthetics Academy will make reasonable efforts to restore access or provide an alternative means of delivery.

Course access is licensed, not sold. Participants receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access course content solely for their own internal business and educational purposes.

Course access may not be shared, transferred, reproduced, distributed, sublicensed, or provided to third parties.

Eyesthetics Academy reserves the right to suspend or revoke access where unauthorized sharing, copying, or misuse of course content is detected.

Online Courses with Live Coaching Components

Where a program includes both digital course content and live coaching, mentoring, implementation sessions, group calls, strategy sessions, or other live services, the following terms apply:

  • The digital course portion of the program is non-refundable once access has been granted.
  • Coaching sessions that have already occurred are non-refundable.
  • Cancellation requests received before any live coaching session has taken place may be eligible for a partial refund, less the value of course materials already provided, administrative costs incurred, and any non-refundable deposit.
  • Once the first live coaching session has occurred, no refunds will be issued unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Any approved refund shall be determined at the sole discretion of Eyesthetics Academy based on the services already delivered.

Consulting Services

Consulting retainers, deposits, and fees are non-refundable.

Once consulting services have commenced, no refunds will be provided for completed work, scheduled consulting time, strategic recommendations, implementation support, advisory services, research, planning, or other services delivered.

If a participant chooses not to proceed with a consulting engagement after work has begun, all amounts paid remain non-refundable.

Where consulting services have been purchased in advance and no work has commenced, Eyesthetics Academy may consider a written cancellation request on a case-by-case basis.

Premium Consulting Programs and Implementation Services

For premium consulting engagements, implementation programs, practice transformation programs, strategic advisory services, Eye Spa launch programs, or other customized services, Eyesthetics Academy may require a non-refundable deposit to reserve consulting time, project resources, and program availability.

Unless otherwise specified in a separate written agreement:

  • A non-refundable deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total program fee is required to secure participation and reserve consulting availability.
  • The remaining balance shall be paid in accordance with the payment schedule established by Eyesthetics Academy.
  • Deposits are non-refundable once paid.
  • Failure to utilize scheduled consulting sessions, implementation support, coaching calls, strategy meetings, or other services does not entitle the participant to a refund.
  • Any payment plan obligations remain payable in full regardless of the participant's level of participation, implementation progress, business results, or use of the services.
  • Consulting hours, strategy sessions, implementation support, and advisory services must be used within the timeframe specified by Eyesthetics Academy unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Where a separate Consulting Services Agreement is executed between Eyesthetics Academy and the participant, the terms of that agreement shall govern in the event of any inconsistency with these Terms.

In-Person Workshops, Training Programs and Events

Participants may cancel their registration by providing written notice.

Unless otherwise stated for a specific event:

  • Cancellations received at least thirty (30) days before the event start date are eligible for a refund, less any non-refundable administrative fees.
  • Cancellations received between fourteen (14) and twenty-nine (29) days before the event start date are eligible for a credit toward a future Eyesthetics Academy program.
  • Cancellations received fewer than fourteen (14) days before the event start date are not eligible for a refund or credit.

Participant substitutions may be permitted at any time with prior written approval from Eyesthetics Academy.

Failure to attend an event does not entitle a participant to a refund, credit, transfer, or rescheduling.

Cancellation by Eyesthetics Academy

Eyesthetics Academy reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, relocate, modify, or substitute any course, workshop, event, consulting engagement, instructor, schedule, format, delivery method, or program offering where reasonably necessary.

Where Eyesthetics Academy cancels a program before it begins, participants may be offered, at Eyesthetics Academy's discretion:

  • A refund of fees paid;
  • A credit toward a future program; or
  • A transfer to another offering.

Eyesthetics Academy shall not be responsible for travel expenses, accommodation costs, lost income, business losses, opportunity costs, or other incidental or consequential expenses incurred by participants.

Exceptional Circumstances

Refund requests outside of this policy may be considered at the sole discretion of Eyesthetics Academy.

Any exception granted in one circumstance does not create an obligation to provide similar exceptions in future situations.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
